The Lego Harry Potter Collection is set to receive a remastered version, which will be available for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series S/X, and PC (via Steam) starting October 8, 2024. The remaster is being developed by Double Eleven, known for their work on previous versions for PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.
Remastered Collection Details
At the Back to Hogwarts event on September 1, this updated version was shown off.. It comes with Lego Harry Potter: Years 1-4 and Lego Harry Potter: Years 5-7, as well as two DLC packs that were already out. The updated version boasts enhanced graphics with 4K resolution, 60fps gameplay, and high-resolution shadow maps. Additionally, it features haptic feedback for a more engaging gaming experience.
Availability and Upgrades
You can get the updated collection digitally on October 8 for PS5, Xbox Series S/X, and Steam. Those who already own the digital versions on PS4 or Xbox One will have the opportunity to upgrade to the new versions at a discounted price. Similarly, existing owners of the games on Steam can benefit from a discount on the remastered edition.
The original Lego Harry Potter Collection, developed by TT Games and published by Warner Bros. Games, encompasses two games that cover all eight Harry Potter films in Lego form. Players will have the chance to revisit the Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, learn spells, solve puzzles, and explore the magical world in this updated edition.
Upcoming Warner Bros. Games Release
In addition to the remastered collection, Warner Bros. Games will also release Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions on September 3. This new title will be available on PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series S/X, PS4, and PS5, and will be featured on PlayStation Plus on its launch day.
