Together with the National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI), Swiggy has announced that they have updated their UPI payment system for India. This function is meant to simplify the payment process for Swiggy’s food and grocery delivery services, hence lowering transaction counts and improving speed. Here is a closer view of what Swiggy UPI has to offer:
- Seamless Transactions:
- Integration with NPCI’s UPI Plugin: Swiggy removes the need for a Third Party Application Provider (TPAP) license by integrating NPCI’s UPI Plugin, therefore enabling users to perform transactions straight within the Swiggy app.
- Speed Improvement: Targeting a smoother and faster payment experience, transaction completion time is dropped from 15 seconds to just 5 seconds.
- Enhanced User Experience:
- In-App Payments: Users of in-app payments can pay without leaving the Swiggy app, therefore lowering the risk of payment failures when switching to outside apps.
- Real-Time Notifications: Swiggy UPI warns consumers to possible problems include insufficient cash or erroneous credentials, therefore enabling them to quickly handle problems and finish transactions.
- How to Set Up Swiggy UPI:
- Open the Swiggy App: Open the Swiggy app. Starting the app on your smartphone.
- Navigate to Profile: Go to the Payments & Refunds part by tapping the symbol found at the top-right corner of the screen.
- Select Payment Modes: Select among the list the Payment Modes option.
- Register for Swiggy UPI: Starting the one-time registration process, tap on Swiggy UPI.
- Verify Mobile Number: They will confirm with an SMS.
- Link Bank Accounts: Choose the account you want to link.
- Complete Registration: Users who have registered may access account management, transaction history, and FAQs.
- Manage Your Account: Choose the Delink Swiggy UPI option to delink your account.
While also lowering the possibility of transaction mistakes, Swiggy UPI seeks to streamline the payment process, so speeding and more efficient for users.
